I am a retired librarian who has moved to the Scandia area from Chicago 3 years ago. I have 2 adult children and 3 wonderful grandchildren. In addition to being a hands on /help out grandmother , I just completed a three year stint of providing care to 2 school age boys (ages 6 and 9 at the start) for 30 hours a week. I transported them to their after school activities, was actively involved with their play times and often helped them with homework assignments. I have cared for 2 little girls in Hugo , three days a week, now ages 5 and 7 , for the last three years I active physically and mentally and would love to provide child care help and support to a family needing help. I am happy to provide references.
