About Natasha
Experience: 10 yrs
After graduating from the University of Oregon in 2018 (BA in Chinese and a certification in teaching), I went abroad to Taiwan and taught English at an elementary school (grades K-6th). When I returned from my year abroad, I taught at the local preschool for a year. Following that, I tutored four children in a Waldorf School (private tutoring, mainly English and some math). For the past year and a half, I have been tutoring a middle school girl and a high school girl in various subjects including English, math, science, and history. I homeschool tutored the middle school girl for about 8 months until she began school at the local middle school, and now I continue to tutor her after school. Additionally, I teach oil pastel and writing at the Shipley Senior Center. I love surrounding myself with people and kindness. I hope to hear from you soon!

Natasha has supported our family for nearly two years as a tutor and childcare provider for our now 12 and 17 year old daughters. Over those years, both of the girls began the post COVID years with failing grades. Natasha has worked diligently with both of them to bring their grades up to A and B levels. During that time, Natasha has also fostered meaningful and impactful relationships with our family. We will miss her very much. We know that we will continue to keep contact. She’s simply given both the girls the wings they needed to soar - and we hope she can share that gift with others.
