My last stint was 11 Years at a high school working with students who had low reading levels preventing them from being successful in all academics. The population varied as to students with disabilities, regular education students, and were in grades 9-12. I have worked at the elementary level teaching grades 3-6 in all subject areas and with varying disabilities. I was an Adjunct Professor at a community college for 8 years part time in the evenings working with students who had low comprehension levels.

Laura has been tutoring my daughter in math for the past few months. My daughter has ADHD and is a challenging student to teach - Laura is patient, persistent and dedicated. She makes my daughter laugh and feel good about herself. My daughter has come so far in math thanks to Laura! I highly recommend her.
