About Yvonne

I tutored in the latter years of my high school career, starting with a middle school boy who struggled with fractions. Once word went out about how well he was doing, I began tutoring my fellow students and their younger siblings in math, history, English and biology. I loved helping and it drove me to attend an university with a fantastic education program, including no less than 1, 060 student-teaching hours. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Teacher Education and English. After college, I spent four years teaching life and employment skills to adults who experience intellectual &/or developmental disabilities. I spent the last four years teaching at Bridgeway House, which provides services for youth who experience Autism. I know CPR/ First Aid and can adapt my teaching methods to your student's learning style with ease. I hope you'll consider me!
