I'm looking for meaningful work that provides families with trusted care. I love working with kids because their curiosity, openness, and natural intelligence inspire me! I began working with kids as a teenager, regularly babysitting for families in my neighborhood. I volunteered each summer as a counselor at local day camps, helping to provide a safe and fun environment for kids through activities in the arts. In college, I became fascinated with child development and worked with a research team to study language acquisition in infants up to 18 months old. In my spare time, I love taking my dog to the park, making jewelry, and salsa dancing. I also teach jewelry-making! While I don't have kiddos of my own, I have found so much joy in caring for others' little ones; I am excited to get to know more families in Seattle!

Laura is an incredible and trustworthy childcare provider. I am a stay at home mom of a two year old and would only trust Laura and my MIL to watch my little one. She is very attentive, compassionate and responsible. I wouldn’t think twice leaving my child in Laura’s care; she treats my boy as if he was her own.
