About Laura

I have worked with primary age children for over 20 years. I was a preschool teacher with 3-year-old children for 4 years when my own children were little, a primary age paraprofessional in public schools for over 13 years, and then a substitute teacher for 3 years. This past year, I have been a nanny for three different families, which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am looking for a position that is flexible, and still allows me to work with children which has been my passion and true calling throughout my professional life. I am also a dedicated mother to two young men. My 21-year-old son is a senior at UGA who is studying pre med and applying to medical school, and my 18-year-old son just graduated high school, and will be playing college football this fall. I feel my dedication to children would be a benefit to any family who would welcome me into their home, and allow me to be a part of your children's lives. I am fully vaccinated and ready to start working with your family.
