Trying to tutor your own children can be frustration for the whole family. Take that role off of your list, and focus on being their caregiver. Let them be agitated w/ me for holding them accountable to do their homework, so you can create a better dynamic w/ your kids. There is no shame in taking something off your plate. Say goodbye to the pressure you've put on yourself to be everything to everyone. Choose to focus your time & energy on other things & protect your peace. I've always pursued academics & consider myself a nerd and a lifelong learner. I enjoy helping kids work through assignments and learn new things. It's so rewarding to see when it *clicks* for them. It's wonderful to see them find joy in learning when they find the kind of support they need. Sometimes people need a 3rd party to learn from & there's no shame in that.
