S. in Early Childhood Education & Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education, at West Virginia University in 2014. While working in childcare I have cared for children of all ages ranging from 6 weeks - 5 years. I have completed Infant/Toddler specialty training courses (WVIT 1 & WVIT 2) during my time in college in West Virginia. I was a NCPK teacher in Carteret County, NC, and for the past year I have been caring for my niece (now 14 months old) while my sister received treatment for leukemia and recovered from a stem cell transplant.

Lakin is a wonderful person and she has a true love of children. I worked with her for 4 years as an NCPK teacher. The children in her classroom were always excited to see her! She planned fun activities where children were also learning about a variety of topics. She has an endless supply of ideas and awesome preschool songs! I am a very picky mother, but I would trust Laken with my spunky daughter any day!
