About Laina

Nice to meet you, I am Laina! Originally from Golden, CO, my journey into childcare began at the age of 10, babysitting neighborhood kids, Throughout high school and college, I continued to expand my experience, serving multiple families simultaneously as a nanny and babysitter while also assisting with household management. After graduation, I spent two-years in Madagascar with the Peace Corps as a community Health Advisor. There, I worked closely with infants, children, adolescents, and mothers, providing essential health education and support. Following my Peace Corps services, I returned to childcare and spent over a year as a nanny before transitioning into the mental health field as a responder, then a trainer. With 14-years of comprehensive experience caring for children of all ages - from infants to teens -as both a nanny and babysitter, I derive immense joy from building meaningful and nurturing relationships with each family to meet your childcare needs.
