About Kyla

I started my childcare experience when I was only 9 years old, volunteering as a mother's helper during the summers. When I became a teenager, I started working actual babysitting jobs. In highschool, I worked as a professional mother's helper for a family that was fostering to adopt four children (aged 2 weeks - 3. 5 years when I began). I then went on to earn my bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development. Since the start of COVID, I have worked as a live-in nanny for two separate families, caring for children between the ages of 6 months and 7 years. I love working with children, and my education has given me a strong foundation in the concepts of systems theory, healthy relationship dynamics, infant development, child and adolescent development, and more. I am so excited to get to know your family!
