In the past, I have mentored and tutored high school students at John Muir High School in Pasadena, CA through a community service organization on campus. After working with these students, I developed a passion for providing assistance. I spoke with a few of my old high school teachers and they suggested I teach math at the high school while working towards my credentials. Unfortunately, I just finished my Master's program and I am still trying to pay for it, so I cannot afford to go back to school for my credentials. In the mean time I would like to improve my tutoring skills. I am exceptional in math, taking ap calculus my senior year in high school and testing out of math when applying for college.
