About Kirsten

I am a compassionate person who cares deeply about those I work with. I believe in treating all people with dignity. I am an LICSW (licensed independent social worker). I have worked in foster care and am presently working in mental health. As I have worked with more clients who are elderly I have found myself absolutely loving them. Our society does not treat people with dignity once they get to their upper 60's. I don't like that and I know from just my little bit of knowledge that it's near impossible to find care. Im not a CNA and don't have medical training but I am willing to help with meds and body care if needed and instructed well. I understand that I need to be aware of mood, physical, and cognitive changes especially for those with Alzheimers and Dementia. I will do my best to provide support and care for your loved one while helping them exercise their independence and self determination as much as safely possible.
