About Julia

My name is Julia and I'm 19 years old. I moved here in September of 2023 and I love the area and the people. Working as a server at Havenwood of Burnsville gave me the inspiration to pursue nursing. I will attend Normandale in the fall to get my RN. Although I don't have any professional caregiving experience, I've been a caregiver for most of my life. My parents were often sick or having surgeries and required care for themselves and my younger brother. On Christmas day, my fiancée and I were in a severe car accident. My fiancée was very hurt and required surgery and constant care. During his recovery, I helped him with bathing, dressing, regaining mobility, lifting, medication management, and everything I could do. I've always had a passion for senior care and generally helping people. Growing up, my mom was a pastor and preached at nursing homes. I would go with her and talk to the seniors. I'm excited to continue care for those who need it most, and I look forward to meeting you!
