Hi! I have 17 years experience caretaking for children personally (single mom to a 17 & 10-year-old). 10 years professional experience working in a school setting (prek - 12th grade). CPR & First Aid certified. Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science, Associates degree in Behavioral & Social Science, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) trained, & 12 Early Childhood Education Units. Currently in grad school getting masters in school counseling. I start my unpaid field work (interning) for my program in January, so I am seeking care taking positions at this time to help me get through my interning financially. My expertise is working with special needs children, social skills, adaptive daily living skills, implementing positive behavior interventions, providing tutoring, & providing a safe, nurturing, fun environment for all individuals. I love working with kids of all ages and abilities. I highly value getting to know the individual and unique needs of the children I work with.
