Hi, my name is Kenya and I am graduating with a degree in Elementary Education in May 2025. Upon graduation, I will be certified to teach K-6 and 6-12 mathematics. I have been tutoring since 7th grade but my professional experience comes from when I tutored for Alabama Athletics. I was at the Bill Battle Academic Center for 2 years, teaching math, writing, and all humanities. Here I developed experience with international students and students with dyscalculia, dyslexia, and ADHD. I love my students and like to learn a lot about their lives. I find that it helps me translate the content into their own personal language of learning. Whoever you are, I make learning work for you. I cannot wait to work with you in the future!
