About Kendall

Hello, my name is Kendall! I am a senior at UConn, Waterbury campus, studying Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS). I have been caretaking for three years, caring for individuals from ages 4 months to 85 years. I look forward to continuing my experience in childcare part time! I would describe myself as empathetic, playful, and supportive! I enjoy spending time outside, doing arts/crafts, and musical activities! Being able to support and guide children through their development, such as teaching them life skills or helping recognize/process emotions, is rewarding. In doing so, enforcing a safe, though creative, environment that stimulates the child, leading to a successful development. Incorporating problem solving and communication skills, as well as patience, aid me when working with individuals.
