About Kena

Over the past many years of my life I have been surrounded by children, and the act of taking care of them. My most valuable traits when working alongside parents to ensure their children are protected and cared for is my empathy, creativity, observation skills, and passion for child development. I have worked as a nanny for two (3 and 7 y/o) children over the summer in 2021. This experience was perfect for me. I was able to develop routines with these kids and provide them with the best care possible. I have also worked at an in-home daycare with my mother. She's taught me all the ways to handling children of all ages, with a wide diversity as she has been in the career for majority of my life. I learned problem solving from small kid disputes and patience. While childcare has always been in my life, I have ventured out when it comes to my personal life.
