I love people and connecting with them. I was my father's caregiver when he was sick with cancer. He had so much he wanted to share with people and I heard so many stories I had never heard before. When my mother in law was dying of Dementia, I loved being there for her. Most people brushed her off because she was hard to understand, but if you really listened and watched her facial expressions, you could connect with her. I feel honored to spend time with the elderly and be a service to them through connection and helping with their care and needs.
