About Kelly

I am a licensed elementary teacher with 16 years of childcare experience. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work with numerous families in various roles, including being a nanny, babysitting for large groups during special events, and even traveling with families. I worked as an outdoor instructor, where I had the pleasure of teaching children as young as 3 years old how to canoe, rock climb, and mountain bike. I successfully taught 23 kids how to ride a bike. I have also served as an ELA, Math & Science tutor for children of all ages and have been a lead classroom teacher for seven years, most recently teaching first grade. I have worked in a variety of educational environments, including expeditionary learning, Montessori, public, and parochial schools. I am happily married and a mom with a beautiful little girl who is 2 and expecting another in September. I am eager to work with local families.
