I am an extremely active, outgoing person with a love for interacting with children. I have extensive experience as a nanny, babysitter, lifeguard, and swim lesson instructor. I have current certifications for CPR and First Aid and am also certified to teach water safety. I believe in keeping children stimulated through creative projects, exercise and the like. I am open to different parenting methods and am able to adapt to the parents' wishes. Overall I thoroughly enjoy being around kids and creating a safe, stable environment for them to thrive in. I currently work part-time as an intern for a sustainable agriculture non-profit in Berkeley. My schedule with the non-profit is fairly flexible and I am able to work around a family's child care needs. I am looking to find a good fit with an active family, and am hoping to find a position that will guarantee a minimum of 20hrs/week.
