About Kayla

I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies and Special Education. I have spent a lot of time in the classroom and understand how to communicate with students to better understand material. I'd describe my personality as energetic, reliable, and patient. I like tutoring because I want to better students learning experience and help them succeed. Learning is hard enough and I would like to make that experience more fun and engaging. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding and helps me better my communication skills as well as better the life of the person I am helping. I started tutoring when I was in High School. I learn best when I teach material to others so I used that to my advantage by helping others. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, and spend time with my family. My skills include being patient, making learning interesting for the child, and being reliable.
