Hello! I am a full-time children's mental health specialist looking for additional, evening work. During the day, I manage a group therapy room with 6-12 "behavior intensive" children at a time. I plan and execute therapeutic activities, as well as provide individual support as needed. I have a degree in Child Psychology, and have had many additional trainings on specific topics such as deescalation, appropriate developmental milestones, trauma informed care, behavior management, and CPR, First Aid, and driver safety. I am well versed in working with children who have "problem child" labels and believe that there is no such thing as a bad kid. Working with children has always been a passion of mine, and I truly believe it is my calling.
