About Kayla

I have 11 years of experience with teaching children of varied learning abilities, including gifted. I have also been a caregiver to adults and children with special needs. My passion is helping children improve their reading and literature skills, as they set us up to be successful adults. Reading improves success in all content areas, including math. Through my experience as a summer school tutor of children ranging from upper elementary to 12th grade, my knowledge of information is vast. I enjoying using a lighthearted and understanding approach to learning. I believe learning should not be a chore, and a stress-free learning model provides the support "to do hard things." Through encouragement and compassion, I can help your child achieve successful outcomes. I enjoy helping people and being a bright light in someone's life. Whether is providing general care or through education, a meaningful and caring approach goes a long ways.
