I am a McNeese graduate in Secondary Education with a major in English and a minor in Spanish. I recently retired from Kehoe-France, a first through eighth grade day school located in Metairie, Louisiana. I taught 7th and 8th grade Language Arts, specializing in grammar, vocabulary and writing. I had a wonderful time teaching and my former students went on to their high schools where they were very good English students. Writing assignments varied from personal experience essays to research papers. Each paper was graded on content, focus, theme, sentence variety, choice of vocabulary and strong introductions and conclusions.
