About Kayla

I am a 42-year-old female whos passion is helping families and their children. I have been working with kids since I was 16 years old. I worked in a daycare for 4 years, working with kids anywhere from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I then began working in a juvenile residential facility where I counseled teens and families to try and help them get reunited with one another for 8 years. After the juvenile residential facility I was contracted out through the Department of Human Services and went into homes where families had open child abuse cases. Some of the children had been removed from the home and my job was to help give the families the skills needed to be able to reunite. As a social worker it can sometimes cause burnout so I took a break. I started being a nanny for a family when the little guy was 8 weeks old and he just told 2 years old a month ago. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology and currently taking courses to receive my Master's in Forensic Psychology and Law.
