About Kayla

My name is Kayla, and I am a first-year teacher. I am pursuing a Master's in Early Childhood Education and plan to obtain a Multi-Language Learner (MLL) endorsement soon. I am particularly motivated by the opportunity to support students who require additional assistance and to witness their growth as learners. What distinguishes me from my peers is that my journey toward teaching was not immediate. Initially, I explored various classes and career paths, but it was my experience with Right at School a before and after-school program that ignited my passion for teaching and engagement with students. It was in that environment that I truly felt a sense of belonging and recognized teaching as my calling.
