I'm out going and down to earth, I absolutely love working with people, and caring for others is truly my calling in life. I am a family person. I have spent most of my years caring for people with dementia and alzheimers. I have a lot of patience and have taken lots of classes to help me better care and have a better understanding of what goes along with this disease. I'm CPR / FIRST AID certified, med delegated, I cook and clean. able to assist with showers but also can provide bed baths. Katie is trustworthy, dependable, generous, and kind. She is personable, warm, and sets those around her at ease. My family needed care for my grandparents as a matter of urgency, and Katie turned a very difficult situation into one that my family could manage, even while most of us were out of state. Well after her "shift" was over, Katie reached out with new ideas for my grandparents and different ways we might think about making them comfortable and healthy. Katie has been understanding as we navigate challenges, and, in every way, she has gone the extra mile to make my grandparents as safe and as well as possible. I would absolutely recommend Katie for anyone who is looking for family/elder care. More importantly, I know my grandfather and my grandmother would recommend Katie to anyone who needs help, as they did.
