About Marie

I started my first caregiving job in the late 80s as a CNA at a nursing home, and have worked in healthcare my entire life. My various roles provided me the opportunity to work in hospitals, care facilities, assisted livings and in home care. I am currently work at a hospital full time in an administrative type role, but have always missed the intercalations with patients and the fact that I have maybe helped them in a positive manner making their life a bit better. I have spent the last several years taking care of my own parents with serious health issues which was mostly by myself very little outside help. This made me recognize the need for family members of disabled/elderly who need help to have a resource that is affordable for occasional help/care option for their loved ones. Doing so afforded me the realization that there are most likely others that don't need full time help, but occasional, and there is not a lot of options out there for dependable flexible help.
