About Katie

Hi there! My name is Katie. I recently I recently completed my Master of Arts in Teaching at Lewis and Clark Graduate School for Education and Counseling. I spent the last school year student teaching language arts and social studies in an 8th-grade classroom in Beaverton, and I will have attained my Oregon preliminary teaching license by the beginning of the school year. I also have experience working with younger students as both a theater camp counselor and a swim instructor. I am interested in tutoring either online or in-person for the 2020-2021 school year. Due to the COVID Pandemic, I finished my student teaching experience through online instruction, so I understand how difficult remote learning can be. I'd like to help guide your children through this process to ensure they get the most out of this school year and make the transition from in-person to online instruction as smooth as possible.
