My first experience as a caregiver for Seniors was with my own father. I spent 4 months helping him move from his wheelchair, to the bed, or to the bathroom. He was half paralyzed, and going through chemotherapy. I would help with his medication, and always have his next week's medication in the containers ready to go. Through this experience I learned the impact and importance of caregiving for those who cannot care for themselves. I found a passion in helping others, and I am hoping to pursue it further.
