About Kathryn

Hi there! My name is Katie, and I'm a 28-year-old former elementary school Spanish and Multilingual Learner teacher. I spent 6 years teaching in public schools in Kentucky and Spain but haven't yet transferred my license to New York. I've spent the last year working at an outdoor kids' enrichment program for 5-11-year-olds and absolutely adore combining the magic of nature with the magic of kids' imaginations. I have been babysitting since middle school, worked at an infant through toddler daycare throughout high school and college, studied Education (K-12), and worked at summer camps for high school students! I have experience with a wide age range and absolutely LOVE working with kids! I speak Spanish and love pets, arts and crafts, and being outside! I am certified in first aid and CPR, have a driver's license, and am happy to help with cooking, school work, chores. I can't wait to get to know you and your family!
