About Kathryn

I currently have a full time job, working in insurance. While I love this, it doesn't completely satisfy me. I want to start tutoring part time as I miss working with kids. I have a passion for bringing creativity to learning. Learning an unfamiliar subject can be hard and frightening at times. I also know that in order for anyone to learn, there must be a certain level of respect earned and compassion given. Over my years of experience with children, I've had a lot of time to learn how to build deep and professional relationships that push students to be the best they can be. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping students gain self-esteem in areas that are a source of doubt and frustration. I started tutoring beginning in October of 22 through May of 23.
