Schedule now for summer tutoring! I am a Middle school special education teacher with 15 years of experience. I have both my Reading endorsement and Strat II Behavior endorsement. I specialize in teaching students with learning disabilities how to improve their reading and writing skills including phonics, decoding, vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension. I really love working with students who have autism in particular, we tend to just 'get' each other! I am open and supportive of all family structures and identities. What will tutoring look like? I typically recommend 2-4 one hour sessions per week. After an initial assessment of your child's unique skills, I create an individualized plan to meet their reading needs.
