About Katherine

Hi- I'm Katie! I have been a classroom teacher the last 11 years (multiple grade levels) and just recently changed jobs into an office role at National Louis University in the Education Department. I have my Bachelor in Education and Mathematics from Carthage College and Masters of Education with a focus on Reading and ESL from National Louis University. I grew up in Barrington with my 3 siblings and have numerous years of babysitting and childcare experience. I am committed to every role I take on and would love the opportunity to work with a family on select weeknights to help with the after school routines. I have a car, work in the Wheeling area, and can be available by 3:40 p.m. for after school pick up. I like to cook and would be willing to help start/prepare basic dinner meals and support elementary and middle school aged children with their homework as needed. I can be available on Saturday mornings for fun excursions with advanced notice. I look forward to hearing from you!
