About Katherine
Experience: 10 yrs
I have been an elementary school teacher for prekindergarten to 6th grade, for over 11 years. This includes years of special resource teaching and tutoring. I really prefer a more personal one-to-one or small group approach. My favorite grades to teach in classroom settings are first, second, and third grades. I have been a tutor at Hartnell College and a few times for adults also. I also am a virtual assistant/tutor for an adult client that I have been teaching to read and write.

Katherine is excellent. A skilled educator and VERY reliable, very dedicated Jill-of-all-trades. She has worked with our family for 3+ years in a variety of capacities - primarily tutor and housekeeper - and we have come to depend on her enormously. She is educated, punctual, communicative (not too much; not too little) and extremely professional. We come home, everything's done, and we didn't have to think about any of it. Kids homework, house cleaned, dog walked, errands run, or whatever.
