About Kate

I'd describe my personality as upbeat, compassionate, and patient! I like working with kids because they keep me on my toes, and they give me joy! Every day is a new adventure and opportunity for fun, laughs, and enrichment. I started working with kids when I was a preteen. I grew up the second oldest of four kids to a single mother who traveled for work. I cared for my two younger siblings for many years, as well as a babysitter and teacher. I've taught countless music lessons, and worked at two different summer camp facilities. Additionally, I worked at a foster home for some time, where I cared for foster children awaiting placement. One thing you should know about me is communication and patience are my strengths. I have training in trauma-based care, and do very well with many levels of mental and emotional development.
