About Katia

As a responsible childcare provider with 7 years of experience, I'm passionate about creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children. I've been an After School counselor in my hometown for two years, have worked in 3 summer camps, have babysat for my Pastor's family (4 kids) since I was 15. I have ample experience with children of all ages! I love being with kids and I have maintained a strong bond with the kids that I've met throughout the years! I'm patient, calm, and creative, which allows me to engage children well. I believe in open communication with parents to ensure a collaborative partnership in caring for their child. With my educational background in college-level coursework focused on early child development, I'm well-equipped to support children's holistic growth. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at a time and am happy to assist with carpooling, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities.
