Hi everyone, I'm Karly. I have an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education and over 20 years of hands-on experience. I absolutely love working with kids from infants to preteens, although I do have a sweet spot for those who are preschool and early elementary aged. My approach is all about engaging them in fun everyday activities that help them build important skills and grow into independent little individuals. On top of childcare, I'm great at managing household schedules and keeping everything running smoothly. I also handle meal prep and light housekeeping, making sure the home is a comfortable place for everyone. Plus, I can communicate in basic Spanish and sign language, which helps me connect even better with the kids! I make learning fun with dancing, singing, reading, and exploring nature. For the older kids, I'm more than happy to help with remote learning, homework, tutoring, and getting around. My main goal is to create a warm environment where kids can thrive

It is hard to sum up Karly in a single paragraph, but if I had to it would be that she sets the bar so high for childcare that it’s hard to imagine us ever finding someone again who our kids and we love more! Karly watched our 1 and 3 year old once a week and occasionally more, and instantly had such a connection with them. They adored her and talked about her nonstop (and still do), and she was so calm, patient, kind, and present when she was with them. As far as her work ethic, it was so unmatched. She was able to commit to a very predictable schedule for months, was always timely, and we loved how she communicated with us just the perfect amount throughout the day, and gave us such a thoughtful review of the day when we got home. We’d come home to well behaved, happy kids and a spotless house that clearly demonstrated how much she cares about a whole family, in addition to children. She always brought my kids little treasures that meant so much to them, or little books and activities that she’d pick up for them, going out of her way to connect with them. She EVEN took care of our house plants which is an example of how observant she is, and it’s so easy to have her as part of your home and family. We highly recommend Karly to any family and know that you will love having her as much as we did! I
