About Karla

I am a 28-year-old who is passionate about working with kids, whether that be helping them with their homework or interacting with them through play. I've worked in after school programs for a total of 3 years, creating lessons and helping the kids with their homework. Currently, I work for an ABA company, where I've gained experience working with children with autism. This is where my career is as I am obtaining my masters degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I've learned about treating not just kids on the spectrum with compassion but everyone. I've been in this field for almost 3 years. I am CPR certified. I like working with kids because they brighten up my days daily. I love playing and interacting with them in a way that's fun and educational. In my spare time, I like to workout and spend time with family.
