About Karine

Along with her elite professional training and career, Karine always works passionately to share music in her community, through her innovative performances, unique approach to teaching, and work as an arts advocate. She holds both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the Eastman School of Music), she was privileged to study many of the most outstanding musicians in the world. Karine's performance career spans work on three continents, and includes professional positions in the Syracuse Symphony, the Rochester Philharmonic, and more. She has 30+ years of professional experience performing and teaching, and is dedicated to her students of all ages and ability levels. Karine adapts her teaching style to the needs of each student, helping them to set and achieve realistic goals. She offers private violin & viola lessons, as well as buddy lessons, where two students share the same weekly time (ideal for siblings, a parent or grandparent and child, or two friends.)
