About Kari

I have spent the last 15 years in education, working with children & youth of all ages and across various roles, including nanny, tutor, high school English teacher, and Principal. For the past six months, I worked as a nanny for an infant, starting as a night nanny when the baby was 2 months old and moving to full-time care from the age of three months until the family recently relocated overseas. In addition to having completed my Doula certification, I hold a Bachelor's in English from the University of South Carolina, a Master's in Educational Leadership from Harvard, and a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Southern CA. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, fluent in Spanish, have reliable transportation, and am a non-smoker. I am seeking temporary and/or part-time roles in tutoring and/or childcare as I launch my new nonprofit in late spring 2025. I'm happy to provide references upon request!
