I have 25+ years experience in Human Services field and have 2+ years experience as a Counselor. I have 7+ yrs experience as a Caregiver, for seniors and adults dealing with disabilities such as; Diabetes, MS, High/Low Blood Pressure, Heart Conditions, post operation recovery, Brain Injuries, Spinal/Neck injuries, Back Surgery, Psychological/Emotional Disorders, Arthritis, Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. I am a very conscious being who approaches my clients with love, respect, dignity, empathy, care, kindness and with a sense of humor. I am an advocate to all aspects and needs of my clients with common sense, intelligence, grace and calm. I have assisted with bathing, dressing, bowel care, wound care, transfers to and from bed, wheelchair and walker, shopping, meal prep, managing and dispensing medication, blood pressure monitoring, transportation, social interaction, assisting with physical therapy exercises, cleaning/maintaining home.
