About Julie

I have experience caring for seniors with dementia and Alzheimer's, as well as adults with developmental disabilities, or physical/mental restrictions which require extra help. I have experience with ADL's (activities of daily living), meal preparation, cleaning, medication reminders, etc. I worked at an assisted living company where I cared for multiple residents at a time, as well as in clients private homes through a senior home care agency. I learned a lot about how to care for people, communicate with them and keep them happy. I also have experience working as an on call scheduler for a senior care agency for two years. I would help coordinate coverage for call offs, late arrivals, shift changes, communicate with clients and their families with updates, and schedule maintenance etc. I have a kind and compassionate heart and I love helping people, which is why I'm going to school studying psychology and social work. I'm young but very mature for my age and have good experience.
