I enjoy working with seniors, or individuals who have different challenges, in their homes by helping them in whatever capacity they deem necessary. My focus is to assist them in their desire to remain in their home while maintaining their autonomy and independent lives. I have experience in caring for my grandmother who was diagnosed with Parkinson's and needed full time help. I did light house keeping, laundry, mobility assistance, transportation, shopping, scheduling appointments, communicated on her behalf, meal preparation, and some assistance with personal care. I also assisted in the care of a very close family friend who was physically incapacitated with cancer by assisting him as needed. I am currently working with a senior, in a senior community, who recently suffered a stroke. I drive her to appointments, shopping, communication when needed, some light housework and what is required to help her maintain her home-life. My availability is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5

Alicia has been working with my parents for about a year. She is kind, thoughtful and learns quickly. She is provides housekeeping, food prep and cleanup, and companionship.
