Hi, My name is Karen. I thoroughly enjoy helping children to learn and grow. I am a retired Occupational Therapist. ( my experience includes working in Boston Public Schools for 2 years and a pediatric unit in a hospital for 7 years). Please note, I no longer practice as an Occupational Therapist. However, I feel qualified to be a tutor. I am able to help a child practice activities that a parent feels is necessary, such as basic life skills and fine motor activities. I am also quite knowledgeable about Science. I prefer to work with children ages 4 through 15 years, although I can be somewhat flexible with this, depending on the needs of the child/teenager.
