About AIDAN

I am 32 years old, married, and have over 10 years experience in education and coaching. I have over 1000 hours of individual and small group tutoring with students of diverse backgrounds. I am comfortable in other disciplines but my passion is for the English language. Language is the foundation of our thoughts and as such is the basis for the rest of the education system. I believe a proper understanding of grammar and vocabulary are vital to effective communication. At its core, my pedagogy is centered around relationship building and empowering students by nurturing their autonmy and fostering a growth mindset. My approach emphases active participation to create an environment where students feel confident expressing their thoughts, opinions and ideas, which in turn enhances their critical thinking skills. They will develop problem-solving and self-regulating practices that will serve them well beyond the confines of the classroom.
