Successfully lowered client's diabetic by half, uses less insulin in a week than used to use in a day. Lowered blood pressure. MED MGMT- from ordering from mail order pharmacy to daily dispensing. BATHING/DRESSING- All safety protocols followed, including shower chair, gait belt, shower head w/8 ft. hose. Clients must be able to wash private areas, plus wipe self after toilet. LAUNDRY- Clothing and bedding, linen change, etc. ERRANDS- run errands, groceries, pharmacy, etc. AMBULATION- Help with ambulation when necessary, gait belt is recommended. ADMIN- Can make doctors appointments, deal with utilities, arrange for and coordinate home repairs, etc. SAFETY- Have installed 36" grab bars, installed directional lights in paths, anti-slip tape where necessary. Cognitive/memory issues, a companionable ear, whatever the need is.
