About Kahelelani

Aloha, I'm Kahele (middle name)! I am a warm and patient 40 y. o trans, non-binary student, who is moving to Kingston from my homeland of Hawai'I on Dec. 25th. I love to go on walks, play games, watch movies, and engage in enriching conversation. I've been told I am comforting to people, and that others feel a sense of ease around me. My elder care experience was attained through the six years of being a sleep tech at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle WA., and through the five years I spent as a supervisor for a recreation program created for adults with physical and intellectual disability for the City of Federal Way Parks and Rec. in Washington State. My approach with elder care centers the safety and respect for the client, while aiming to create meaningful connections.
