About Kaelin

I have always been extremely passionate about children and have always been able to have a special connection with children. I absolutely love children and enjoy spending time with them. I have over 9 years of experience watching kids on my own. I started out watching my younger siblings when they were just infants until they were able to be home on their own. I have had a numerous number of babysitting jobs for a number of children of all different ages. I have a huge family of over 30 cousins and my greatest joy has been spending time with all of the new babies and kids over the years. My parents live in a new neighborhood full of children of all ages and I have so much fun babysitting or just hanging out with the kids in the neighborhood. I have lived in Minnesota my entire life until I moved to San Diego this past October. I attended the University of Minnesota and then took in internship here with California Veterinary Specialists. The internship has been amazing experience and now I am one step closer to fulfilling my childhood dream of becoming a Veterinarian. I am very passionate about animals as well. I have a 1-year-old dog and a 4-month-old puppy. They mean the world to me. I have fallen in love with San Diego and have decided to stay here and finish school. I really miss being around children all the time and have decided that I really want to find a family to nanny for while I finish school. I nannied for the same family in Minnesota for the past 4 summers and absolutely loved it. The family has three girls who are now 5, 7, and 8. The girls were heartbroken when I moved to San Diego, but I am still very close with them. The bond that I share with these girls and their parents is so special and important to me. They really have made me feel like a part of their family and I am so thankful for them. The girls have always looked up to me and I am so proud to be a role model to them. With my former nanny family, we loved to do arts and crafts, go swimming at the pool or the beach, go on bike rides, have picnic lunches at the park, and the list could go on and on. I don't think there was one summer activity that we didn't do. I am still trying to figure out my school schedule and I want to be able to be flexible for my nanny family.
