About Julien

I spent Summer 2023 working as a Camp Counselor where I cared for 30 6-12-year-olds. A huge PotterHead, I worked at a Hogwarts Camp for Summers 2019-20. I led wizards through various magical crafts: potions, spells, etc. Aside from caring for my 10-year-old sister, I have worked dozens of pet and child care gigs for neighbors. I sing and play piano for two NYU teams. I am always looking for curious voices to teach and play with. I will always prioritize play over screens. I believe in curiosity and imagination as a gentle and effective solution for misbehavior. I think creatively to imagine green goblins(broccoli) which are trying to take over the world. Inspired/distracted by the playful imagery, children give in to the prospective adventure. I also understand that imagination isn't a magic spell that can cure all misbehavior, but will always use it before sterner demands. I believe in respecting children's wishes while always prioritizing their safety, health, and wellbeing. :)
